Why Didn’t I Know My H&R Block Return Was Rejected?

During the return filing and account management process, we send emails to keep you up to date on the status of your return. If your H&R block return is rejected, the online program sends an email notification when your e-file status changes from “pending.” The email will ask you to log in and check the e-file status of your return.

How to Ensure That You Receive H&R Block Emails About Your Rejected Return or Other Notices

If you didn’t see the email that was sent about your H&R Block return being rejected, it’s possible that email was delivered into your spam folder. To ensure you receive our emails in the future, add onlinetaxes@hrblock.com to your address book.

Another possibility is that your email address has changed since you set up your account. To check the email address we have on file, log into your account and choose Manage Account under the My Account header. If your email address is outdated, simply enter the new email address and choose Save.
