Why you received IRS Letter 707C

1. You filed a tax return with a refund due.
2. The IRS placed the refund on hold while the tax return was reviewed.
3. The IRS sent Letter 707C to notify you that the refund is being processed and should arrive in four to eight weeks unless you have other debt (such as child support) that the IRS is required to collect.
